About
In the 19th century, thousands of canuts, the silk weavers, lived and worked in the tall, high-ceilinged buildings of this hill. Today it is a lively neighbourhood of cafés and workshops, with views down to the Rhône.
Best time to go: Morning, when the boulevard market is on (every day except Monday).
