About
Saidpur lies in a ravine of the Margalla Hills, just below the Daman-e-Koh overlook. It dates back to the Mughal era and carries a wide range of religious and cultural heritage within its small streets. Today it is a popular stop for local and foreign visitors, with shops selling locally made pottery and handicrafts, while between 12,000 and 15,000 people still live in the village.
Best time to go: Come in the evening, when the village is lit and the air is cooler, and pair it with Daman-e-Koh above.
