About
The Huế Museum of Royal Fine Arts is devoted to the imperial past of Vietnam and the arts produced for the Nguyễn court. It stands close to the Imperial City in the former capital. In 1927 a section for the art of Champa was added by royal decree. In 2016 it held an exhibition of Nguyễn dynasty treasures that had been moved to Hanoi for safekeeping after 1945.
Best time to go: Visit after the Imperial City, as it lies just east of the palace walls.
