نبذة
Ahmad al-Mansur began El Badi after his victory at the Battle of the Three Kings in 1578, using Italian marble and gold. A century later Moulay Ismail stripped it for his new capital at Meknes. What remains is a huge courtyard of sunken gardens and pools, walls crowned with storks' nests and a museum holding the Koutoubia's original minbar.
أفضل وقت للزيارة: Climb to the terrace on the ramparts late in the day to see the storks' nests and the Atlas on the horizon.
