Ngọc Sơn Temple sits on a small islet in Hoàn Kiếm Lake, in the centre of Hanoi. Visitors cross to it on a footbridge from the lake shore. Its position in the middle of the water gives it one of the best views of the lake and the busy streets around it. Dress modestly and keep your voice low, as it is an active place of worship. It is an easy stop on any walk around the lake.
