Completed in the early 1980s, the tower rises to more than one hundred metres on high ground east of the centre. Its rotating restaurant turns a full circle in around an hour, giving a gradual panorama of the cathedral, the river and the Trondheimsfjord. It is the easiest way to see the whole city laid out below.
