À propos
This is one of the oldest secular buildings in Scandinavia, begun in the twelfth century as the residence of the archbishops. After the Reformation it passed to the Danish-Norwegian crown and served as a military headquarters. Today its museum displays original sculptures from the cathedral and archaeological finds, and the regalia of the Norwegian crown are kept in the west wing.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Combine it with the cathedral, as the palace sits right beside it and the crown regalia are on view here.
