À propos
Completed in 1950 after interruptions caused by the war, the city hall is a bold statement of functionalist architecture with national romantic touches. Its main hall is covered in vast murals depicting Norwegian working life, history and the occupation. Outside, the courtyard carries carved wooden friezes drawn from Norse mythology.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Step inside to see the murals in the main hall, then continue down to the waterfront promenade.
