À propos
The Pahlavon Mahmud complex covers the grave of a local hero who lived from 1247 to 1326. He came from a family of humble craftsmen and was famed as a poet, an unbeatable wrestler and a healer. A dome was first raised over his grave in 1664, and the complex now covers an area of 50 by 30 metres. It is still considered a sacred place by Uzbeks, Turkmens, Karakalpaks and others.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Visit in the morning and dress modestly; pilgrims come here to pray.
