Información
The Juma Mosque stands in the middle of Itchan Kala, on the road between the west and east gates. It was first documented in the 10th century and rebuilt in 1788. The flat roof of the one-storey hall rests on 212 wooden columns in 17 rows, some of them taken from much older buildings. The hall measures 55 by 46 metres, and its minaret rises 42 metres.
Mejor momento para ir: Visit in the quiet of the early morning, and take time to compare the carving on the different columns.
