Built as a broadcast tower in the late 1960s and early 1970s and opened to the public in 1980, the tower stands near the summit of Namsan in the middle of the city. Its observation deck looks across the Han River and the surrounding mountains, and the terraces below are covered in couples' love padlocks.
Beste Besuchszeit: Take the cable car up Namsan at dusk to watch the city lights come on.
