About

Opened in 1888, the park covers a large peninsula of rainforest, beaches and lakes between the harbour and English Bay. The seawall path circles it for about nine kilometres, with views of the mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge. The totem poles at Brockton Point and the Vancouver Aquarium are among its highlights.

Best time to go: Rent a bicycle and ride the seawall loop in the morning, stopping at the totem poles at Brockton Point.
