About
Linnaeus bought the farm in 1758 and spent his summers here with his family, teaching students and working on his collections. The simple wooden house still has the botanical prints he pasted to the walls, and a small stone museum on the hill once held his specimens.
Best time to go: Visit in summer, when the house and gardens are open and the meadows are in bloom.
