About
Also called Huaca Arco Iris, the temple is surrounded by a protective wall and rises in two platforms. Its adobe walls are carved with repeated images of a rainbow or serpent-like creature flanked by figures, motifs thought to relate to fertility and rain in the desert.
Best time to go: Visit on the same ticket and tour as Chan Chan, ideally in the morning.
