About
Bondi's lifesaving club is among the oldest in the world, and the beach has been a centre of Sydney's surf culture for more than a century. At its southern end the Icebergs ocean pool sits right on the rocks, and from there the coastal walk follows sandstone cliffs past smaller beaches and bays.
Best time to go: Swim between the red and yellow flags, then walk the clifftop coastal path south towards Coogee.
