The park surrounds a reservoir created in the 1790s to irrigate the farmland that fed Jeongjo's new city. Today its walking loop, willow-lined banks and small pavilion make it a favourite place for residents to exercise and relax.
Best time to go: Take an evening stroll around the lake when the paths fill with local walkers.
