About
Opened in 1974 just east of Suwon in neighbouring Yongin, the village gathers more than two hundred and fifty traditional houses relocated or recreated from across the country. Artisans demonstrate crafts, and performances of farmers' music, horseback skills and tightrope walking bring the late Joseon era to life.
Best time to go: Plan a full day, arriving in time for the farmers' music and tightrope performances.
