About
Rising around 140 metres above the Atlantic, the headland is marked by a lighthouse and a stone monument quoting the poet Luís de Camões. Paths along the cliffs look out over the ocean and the rugged coastline of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.
Best time to go: Aim for sunset, and bring a layer against the strong Atlantic wind.
