About
Designed by Ben van Berkel and opened in 1996, the bridge links the city centre with the redeveloped Kop van Zuid district. Its angled pylon has earned it the nickname of the Swan, and a bascule section at the southern end can open for tall ships.
Best time to go: Walk across at sunset, or view it lit up from the Wilhelminapier waterfront.
