About
Delfshaven was once the port of the city of Delft, and in 1620 the Pilgrim Fathers set sail from here on the first stage of their journey to America. Its canal, historic warehouses, brewery and rebuilt windmill offer a rare glimpse of old Rotterdam.
Best time to go: Visit in the late afternoon and stay for a drink by the old harbour.
