About
Opened in 2003, the crossing combines a high cable-stayed span over the main channel with many kilometres of viaducts and embankments across the islands and marshes of the Paraná. Its slender white towers have become a modern landmark on the northern edge of the city.
Best time to go: See its tall cable-stayed towers from the northern riverside, or drive across to appreciate the scale of the wetlands.
