About
Set within the thick walls of Fort Verudela, one of many forts built to guard the naval base of Pula, the aquarium displays life from the Adriatic and beyond. It is also known for rehabilitating injured loggerhead turtles and releasing them back into the sea.
Best time to go: Visit in the morning, then swim at one of the rocky coves of the Verudela peninsula nearby.
