About
The original castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the 1580s to unify Japan. The present keep, rebuilt in 1931, houses a museum about his life, with a view from the top floor over the park and the city.
Best time to go: Late March for the cherry blossoms in the park around it.
