About
La Casa Azul was Kahlo's family home, and she spent much of her life here with Rivera before her death in 1954. Opened as a museum a few years later, it keeps her studio, kitchen and garden much as she left them, alongside paintings, folk art, pre-Hispanic pieces and the dresses and corsets that shaped her image.
Best time to go: Book a timed ticket well ahead, then wander on through the leafy streets and plazas of Coyoacán.
