About

The Petronas Towers rise to almost 452 metres, an interlinked pair of supertall skyscrapers at the heart of the city centre. They held the title of the world's tallest buildings until Taipei 101 overtook them in 2004. They are still the tallest twin towers anywhere, taller than the original World Trade Center. The towers were Malaysia's tallest buildings until 2019, when The Exchange 106 surpassed them.

Best time to go: See them twice: from the park at their feet by day, and again after dark when the steel facades are lit.
