About
The Kordon was built in the late nineteenth century on land reclaimed from the sea. Today it stretches along the waterfront from Konak towards Alsancak, a favourite place for evening walks, cycling and watching the sunset over the gulf.
Best time to go: Walk the promenade at sunset, when locals come out to sit by the water.
