The museum gathers treasures from Knossos, Phaistos and other sites across Crete. Among them are the enigmatic Phaistos Disc, the snake goddess figurines, the bull-leaping fresco, the gold Malia pendant with its two bees and the painted Hagia Triada sarcophagus.
