About
The hills west of Hangzhou produce Longjing, or Dragon Well, one of China's most prized green teas. The museum explains the history, cultivation and culture of tea across China, and its pavilions and gardens open on to the terraced fields where the leaves are grown and picked.
Best time to go: Visit in spring, when the surrounding tea terraces are being picked, and try a cup of Longjing.
