About
The Cascine was once a Medici farm and hunting estate and became a public park in the nineteenth century. Its tree-lined avenues run for about three kilometres beside the river. A large open-air market sets up here on Tuesday mornings.
Best time to go: Tuesday morning for the big open-air market, or a weekend jog along the river.
