About
The village was built by refugees during the Korean War, and its tightly packed homes step up the slopes above the harbour. An art project from the late 2000s filled its alleys with murals, sculptures and small galleries, and the view over the pastel rooftops has become one of the defining images of Busan.
Best time to go: Buy a stamp map at the information centre and follow the trail through the lanes in the morning.
