About
Laid out for the millennium of the Magyar conquest in 1896, the square is dominated by a tall column topped by the Archangel Gabriel. Colonnades behind hold statues of kings and statesmen, and it is flanked by the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hall of Art.
Best time to go: Combine it with the museums on either side and a walk into City Park beyond.
