About
Leopold II commissioned the park and its monumental buildings for the national exhibition of 1880, though the triumphal arcade was only finished in 1905. The wings house the Art and History Museum, the Royal Military Museum and Autoworld, and the lawns and tree-lined avenues are a favourite place for local walks.
Best time to go: Walk through the park to the triumphal arcade, then pair it with one of the museums in its wings.
