About
Designed by Lúcio Costa and completed in the 1960s, the tower rises well over two hundred metres above the city. Its viewing platform lets visitors see Brasília's plan clearly, with the ministries and Congress lined up along the axis, and the craft fair around its base is a weekend institution.
Best time to go: Go up on a weekend and browse the craft fair at its base, famous for gemstones and local sweets.
