About
The market moved to its present site in the north of the city in the 1980s and has grown into a vast grid of covered lanes divided into sections. Shoppers find clothes, ceramics, antiques, plants, handicrafts and pets, and the food stalls scattered throughout serve everything from coconut ice cream to grilled pork skewers.
Best time to go: Go early on a weekend morning before the heat builds, and pick up a map at the entrance.
