نبذة

The cathedral has been rebuilt several times after fires and earthquakes, most recently after its towers were damaged in 2001, and its Neoclassical facade stretches along the whole northern side of the main square. Inside are a large Belgian organ and a carved wooden pulpit, while the plaza's arcades and palms make a fine setting.
