About

Hili Archaeological Park preserves a Bronze Age site on the northern edge of Al Ain. The remains here belong to the long prehistory of the Al Ain oases, when farming communities first settled the area. Set among lawns and paths, the site is an easy introduction to how old human settlement in this part of Arabia really is. It is one of several ancient sites that give Al Ain its unusual depth of history.

Best time to go: Go in the cooler morning hours, and combine it with the Al Qattara Arts Centre on the way back into town.
