About
Mariam-uz-Zamani, a Rajput princess and one of the most influential women of the Mughal court, was buried here in the early seventeenth century. The red sandstone tomb, built by her son Jahangir, stands in a peaceful garden a short distance from her husband's mausoleum and sees few visitors, which is much of its charm.
Best time to go: Combine it with Akbar's Tomb nearby at Sikandra, visiting both in the cooler morning hours.
