نبذة

Sir Henry Pellatt, a financier and soldier, built the house between 1911 and 1914, complete with towers, secret passages and an underground tunnel to the stables. Financial troubles forced him out within a decade, and the city eventually took it over. Today visitors explore the grand rooms, the towers and the terraced gardens.
