Just north of the railway line from the city centre, Northbridge grew as a home for successive waves of migrants, and its streets reflect that mix in their Italian, Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. The Perth Cultural Centre with its museum and gallery sits at its heart, and laneways of street art and small bars keep it busy after dark.
