نبذة
Pizarro built his residence here after founding Lima in 1535, and the site has housed the country's rulers ever since. The present building, with its French-inspired facade, dates largely from the twentieth century, and the daily changing of the guard by soldiers in historic uniforms draws crowds to its railings.
