نبذة
Anarkali stretches from just south of the Lahori Gate of the Walled City across to Mall Road, and it is both a market and a neighbourhood in its own right. Its lanes are crowded with shops and food stalls from morning to night. The bazaar also holds the Valmiki Mandir, said to be 1,200 years old, and in 2020 it was placed on the World Monuments Watch to highlight the need to protect it.
