The palace was renovated and enlarged in the eighteenth century, and when the lake is full most of its storeys lie below the waterline, leaving only the top floor and its corner pavilions visible. It is not open to visitors, but the view from the shore, with the Aravalli hills behind, is one of the classic images of Jaipur.
أفضل وقت للزيارة: Stop on the lakeside promenade on the way to Amber, ideally in early morning or at sunset.
