In little more than twenty minutes, the Hungerburg funicular and two cable cars lift visitors from the old town to Hafelekar, at more than 2,000 metres. Zaha Hadid designed the sleek funicular stations, and the summit gives an extraordinary view down to Innsbruck and across the Alps.
