نبذة
Standing on a hill at the city's eastern edge, the basilica has drawn pilgrims since the seventeenth century. Its twin-towered facade looks out over the countryside, and the interior is decorated with frescoes and an ornate pulpit; the long stairway leading up to it is itself part of the pilgrimage.
