نبذة
Midoun is a town and commune in the north-east of Djerba, with around 63,000 residents at the 2014 census spread across seven districts, including Mahboubine, Robbana and Arkou. With some 90 hotels and around 50,000 beds, it is the biggest tourist destination in Tunisia. Beyond the resort strip, its town centre and outlying villages show a more everyday side of the island.
