Opened in 2004 on former railway land, the park is a showcase of modern art and design. Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate reflects the skyline, Jaume Plensa's Crown Fountain projects faces of Chicagoans onto glass towers, and Frank Gehry's Jay Pritzker Pavilion hosts outdoor concerts. The Lurie Garden offers a quieter corner of native planting.
