Rožmberk Castle

نبذة

Built in the thirteenth century by the Vítkovci, whose Rožmberk branch became the most powerful family in southern Bohemia, the castle was later remodelled in a romantic Gothic style. Tours show armour, portraits and furnished rooms, and the tower gives a fine view over the river and village.
