نبذة
Inaugurated with the city in 1960, the palace is one of Niemeyer's most elegant designs, its glass box held by curving white columns that barely seem to touch the ground. It is the official workplace of the President of Brazil, and ceremonial guards and a ramp for state occasions face the square.
