نبذة
The lake was created by damming the Paranoá river as the capital was built, to raise humidity in the dry savanna climate and provide leisure space. Its shores hold the presidential palace, embassies, clubs and waterfront bars, and it has become the city's favourite place to relax at the end of the day.
أفضل وقت للزيارة: Head to the lakeside at sunset, when locals gather along the shore for drinks and views of the bridge.
