نبذة
Opened in 2002 and named after the president who founded Brasília, the bridge was designed by the architect Alexandre Chan with the engineer Mário Vila Verde. Its three steel arches cross diagonally over the deck, carrying it on cables, and the structure has become the city's most admired modern landmark.
